AA Culinary Awards

The quality and service of food is also assessed by the AA inspectorate, who award AA Rosettes to establishments demonstrating mastery and excellence in this field.

Guest accommodation are also eligible for both Breakfast and Dinner Awards, signified by egg cup and pie logos respectively. These are awarded for meals that exceed the quality requirements of the establishment’s star rating, but are not of Rosette standard.

We highlight with a strawberry icon those establishments that source more than 50% of their food ingredients from local and regional suppliers within a fifty mile radius and who support this with clear and effective marketing on their menus, and through the training of their staff. They must also offer quality cooking and serving of these ingredients, achieving at least one AA Rosette.
