About the award

Each year the AA independently inspects hundreds of restaurants across the British Isles. Introduced in 2000, this award recognises restaurants that provide cuisine of a truly excellent standard, as well as demonstrating innovation and ambience and providing a high standard of hospitality.

The Silver Birch, London

The Silver Birch is a top-flight neighbourhood restaurant on Chiswick High Road. Inside there is an understated, modern contemporary feel with both industrial and Scandi style elements giving an air of sophistication and curation. There's also a nice natural light emanting from floor-to-ceiling front windows.

With a stellar background of cooking at some of the finest restaurants, you can expect exemplary, innovative modern cooking from chef patron Nathan Cornwell. The Silver Birch celebrates locally sourced produce and a menu which evolves with the seasons.

On street tables provide an alfresco option in the summer months. Service is attentive yet relaxed.
