About the award

Introduced in 2013, this award recognises restaurants that deliver excellent standards of restaurant service and hospitality. Teams will deliver technical service skills and food and beverage knowledge of the highest standard.

The Goring 

The Goring has been an icon of British hospitality for over 100 years now, yet all aspects of its operation continue to impress; a true illustration of what 5 AA Red Stars are all about. The food and beverage team consistently deliver across all aspects of service. The Dining Room has been through an extensive redesign, which successfully blends the new with the classical DNA of the Goring. Opulent new interiors showcase the heritage and character of the building and there is eye-catching artwork with sumptuous flooring and great use of daylight. This provides a wonderful platform for the food. Modern/traditional British cuisine is served, brought up to date by Executive Chef Graham Squire. The attentive and friendly team is led by Jeet Chauhan and Jean-Baptiste Lemoine, and high standards are supported by robust training and leadership to create an experience that leaves a lasting impression.
