Hospitality Awards 2019

AA Pub of the Year Scotland

About the award

The AA Pub of the Year is selected with the help of our AA inspectors. These pubs stand out for being great all-rounders, combining a convivial atmosphere, well-kept beers and ciders, excellent food, and of course, a warm welcome from the friendly and efficient hosts and their staff.

Meikleour Arms

The popular country estate inn with stylish, boutique accommodation welcomes both locals and visitors who come to the area for fishing and shooting.

The elegant, contemporary bedrooms and cottages all have superking or king-sized beds with luxurious hypoallergenic bedding, impressive bathrooms and quirky French furnishings; ground-floor rooms have baths and separate walk-in showers.

An attractive restaurant, with a private dining room, serves high quality local produce. The residents' sitting room, with its attractive fireplace, is perfect for enjoying the property's own real ale or choosing from the extensive wine list.
