Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms, Lancashire

Grade II* listed, Moor Hall is located in five acres of gardens with stunning views over a beautiful lake, said to be the remains of a medieval moat. Chef patron Mark Birchall has created a world class dining experience in relaxed surroundings.

Wine judging observations:

Most striking about the wine list at Moor Hall is the impeccable layout and ease of navigation, a blessing with such a large tome. Packed with vinous gems and impeccably sourced to provide breadth and depth, wine enthusiasts will love the notes about terroir for every region featured. The 'by the glass' selection is filled with variety and interest, offering opportunities to experiment with complete confidence. Pricing is fair, considering the status of the restaurant and kitchen. The list also stands out for its focus on provenance and a beautiful selection of organic and biodynamic wines.
