Introduced in 1992, this award is the AA’s ultimate accolade for hotels in the UK. It is awarded to hotels that are recognised as being outstanding examples in their particular market.

A transformative £7 million investment programme has enhanced both the estate and the overall product, further strengthening Calcot’s positioning around luxury, family-friendly hospitality, sustainability and wellness. Over the past 25 years, the estate has undergone extensive rewilding. Land has been left to wildflowers, former farmland replanted with native Cotswold grass seed, and more than 25,000 trees have been planted across the estate.
