Adam Terpening

Adam Terpening has helped build a unique charity recognising the 'Hidden Heroes' of the voluntary sector. Marking its 10th anniversary last year, Room to Reward has given nearly 4,000 volunteers from more than 1,300 charities a well-deserved break, working with over 900 hotels to provide stays worth £1.7 million at no cost to recipients or charities. The idea is simple but powerful: hotels donate unsold rooms, charities nominate outstanding volunteers, and Room to Reward creates meaningful experiences. Its impact spans hospices, the NHS, crisis helplines, grassroots sport, cancer support, disability, education and many other causes. The value of these breaks is real; recipients report improved wellbeing, stronger morale and renewed commitment. Through hard work and tireless advocacy, Adam has given hospitality an ideal way to give back to those who give so much to others.
